  We are three eight-graders who live in San Pablo and attend school in Moravia. Two of us, Giulianna, and Matias, have being living in San Pablo for quite a lot of time, but Sofia has been here since a year ago. So basically, we are the creators of this blog that we hope you enjoy.  In this blog we’ll talk about the history of our district, San Pablo, and all its special activities that make this place so pleasant. We will not limit ourselves to an only type of audience, we will welcome anyone from different districts that comes here to learn and mostly enjoy. Our purpose with this blog is for our audience to get to know our district, how they work and how they’re stablished.

     For this section we decided to interview one of our grandmothers about her thoughts of San Pablo, she told us she has been living here in San Pablo for almost 20 years already, she came to San Pablo since, long ago her husband lived in Curridabat and she lived in Palmares, so they decided they wanted to live in a place between both families. She was also a medical representative and her boss lived here in Heredia. At first, they wanted to live in Santo Domingo, but the person who built the house told them that San Pablo was a much quieter and more peaceful place, so was it. She described San Pablo as a very peaceful town with very humble people, small amount of infrastructure and a very unorganized cantonal government, with little business and few opportunities to grow. She talked to us about what she like most about San Pablo, among those included the accessibility to the whole country, San Pablo has so many entrances and shortcuts that they could avoid traffic jam ...

  How your family supports the services provided by the district (property tax, municipality taxes)? Our family  has being  support ing the district in many aspects, for example,  the services provided by the district ,  paying the property and municipality taxes on time every year, besides we respect the weekly schedules for traditional and recycling garbage.    Volunteer, charity work, church services, and participation/support in public activities: Since COVID we have not been able to participate in the district’s activities, but before the pandemic, we  participate d  in public activities organized by our district  such as sport activities and recreative activities, we hope that soon we can return to our usual activities.
